Mid-Century Modernist African Chalk Ware Lamp

Unusual male African Lamp. Looks to be Alexander Backer but can only find statues of this figure, no lamps so possibly quite rare.  Very mid-century modernist in style. In good vintage condition but has hard to notice crack across his middle and usual age related marks which is normal with chalk ware. These issues can be seen in the photos and are reflected in the price. Paired with a vintage clip on cloth lampshade. 44cm tall with shade 24cm diameter shade
